Excessive speed, alcohol and not using a seatbelt, are factors in two thirds of fatal accidents involving young drivers.
Alive2Drive is a City of York Council initiative aimed at young drivers. Our objective is to urge this vulnerable driver group to be aware, be alive. Be alive to speed limits, be alive to other road users, be alive to driving conditions, and be alive to drive.
The campaign uses powerful imagery, and without judgement, increase awareness of the potentially fatal risks of driving.
